Very busy Italian restaurant/café in North Brisbane requires someone with kitchen hand experience. You will be trained to prep pizza dough, pasta, vegetables and sauces. You will also be trained to make and plate food aesthetically. Great job variety. 30 hours plus per week (happy to work around Uni schedules or family commitments)
Basil & Vine’s ethos is to make delicious Italian food with simple, wholesome ingredients. We believe that we ‘eat with our eyes’ before the food even touches the tongue. Our goal, therefore, has been to create a beautiful space in which to enjoy the kind of relaxed dining Italians do so well, and to provide good food that is pleasing to both the mouth and the eye. Basil opened over 7 years ago and was soon bursting at the seams. So, in mid-2021, we expanded and added a deck for functions. We are looking for dedicated, motivated kitchen staff.
Experience in the kitchen a huge advantage but if you know your way around a kitchen we can train you. What we are looking for is a candidate with a great attitude, someone who takes pride in what they do and is reliable. It is a great working environment with a motivated team.
Must be available at weekdays, be prepared for some early starts and be willing to work either a Saturday or Sunday.
