Kitchen Hand – Weekend Shifts

Shifts: Friday or Saturday evenings + either Saturday or Sunday day
Merak GF is on the lookout for a reliable, hardworking, and hands-on Kitchen Hand to join our back-of-house team.
This role suits someone who’s responsible, takes pride in their work, and can keep up in a fast-paced kitchen. School-age applicants are welcome, but you must be punctual and committed to showing up for your shifts. We also welcome more mature applicants who bring consistency and initiative to the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Washing dishes and maintaining a clean kitchen
- Basic food prep (e.g. chopping, portioning, simple assembly)
- Making pizzas during service
- Operating the deep fryer safely
- Supporting cooks with general kitchen tasks
- Following hygiene and safety procedures
Who We Are Looking For
- Must be available across the weekends
- Flexible for extra weekend shifts if needed
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Can follow instructions, work well under pressure, and be part of a team
- Kitchen experience is necessary
