WHAT WE OFFER
- Casual Role: DIDO outage, located at Callide Power Station in Biloela, QLD
- Project Dates: Start date from mid-August, running approximately until November
- Roster: Monday to Saturday, Days/Nights, 11-hour shifts.
- Competitive Rate: EBA rates $55.93 p/h (including 25% casual loading) + OT Penalties (from base rate) + Site Allowance.

THE OPPORTUNITY
Downer's Energy & Utilities business is seeking casual Laggers to provide outage services at Callide Power Station in Biloela, QLD. Starting in mid-August 2025 , Downer will offer mechanical and project services throughout the outage period. As a Lagger, you will apply your expertise in removing damaged or aged insulation materials from pipes, boilers, and ductwork, install new insulation and apply protective cladding over insulation to shield it from damage and wear.
ABOUT YOU
- Site Proficient: Experienced in outages and projects in the power generation or heavy industrial sector
- Team Oriented: Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills
- Workplace Safety: Committed to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues
- Qualifications: Enter and work in confined spaces (RIIWHS202E), Working at heights (RIIWHS204E) (within 2 years), Construction white card
