Join our team for a fantastic culture with dynamic collaboration and genuine long-term career support. Additionally, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels welcome, respected, and empowered to succeed.

The role

If you're someone who thrives on turning complex data into clear insights, this role offers the chance to make a real impact. As a Landfill Data Analyst, you'll help drive key property and infrastructure projects by supporting budgeting, reporting, and forecasting activities. You’ll work closely with project teams and finance to manage everything from fleet utilisation to landfill weighbridge data—making sure the numbers tell the right story and support smart decisions.

It’s a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, tight deadlines, and stakeholders who speak different financial languages. But if you're confident juggling multiple tasks, translating technical concepts, and keeping a sharp eye on both financial and operational details, this is your opportunity to help shape the future of NSW’s property and environmental landscape.

  • Hands-on landfill and waste sector expertise, with 3–5 years’ experience navigating operational, regulatory, and environmental complexities—including market based renewable energy schemes (ACCUs, LGCs, and carbon initiatives)
  • Sharp analytical and financial skills, with proven ability to manage budgets, reconcile projects, and deliver accurate reports under pressure using SAP and NSW Treasury frameworks
  • End-to-end fleet management experience, from acquisition and utilisation tracking to condition reporting and strategic planning.
  • Strong grasp of NSW Government systems and policies, including My Procure, My WorkZone, EPA Waste Reporting Portal, and weighbridge management software like Mandalay
  • Clear and confident communicator, able to translate technical data into actionable insights for stakeholders with varying financial literacy.
  • Highly organised and collaborative, with a track record of balancing competing priorities, working across teams, and meeting tight deadlines in dynamic environments.

What is an essential requirement:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting, business or commerce fields; experience and knowledge of financial and management accounting
