About the Role
Newington College seeks to appoint a temporary part-time (0.5 FTE) French Teacher to join our highly successful and innovative Languages Department, commencing in Term 4, 2025, on a leave cover basis. This role will focus on junior classes with an estimated 22 periods per cycle.
We are looking for a teacher who prioritises authentic language learning, the use of ICT and differentiation.
With access to a range of online resources and native Conversation teacher support, our students enjoy experiencing language learning in fun and authentic ways. As critical and ethical thinkers, they embrace opportunities to compare cultures and develop their understanding of their own and others’ cultural identity, with some students undertaking a language exchange or participating in an immersion study tour.
