Oxford Falls Grammar is a vibrant K-12 school with an enrolment of 1200 students. Situated in the beautiful Northern Beaches of Sydney, our School has developed an enviable reputation for its standards and achievements, emphasising academic excellence, pastoral care, and growth in Christian faith and values.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced and passionate Modern Languages Teacher at our school, to commence in Term 1 2026. You will deliver engaging and challenging French lessons – potentially across Stages 3-6. The ability to teach Spanish would also be an advantage, given that we have recently introduced Spanish to our curriculum offering in Stage 4. You will inspire a love of languages, contribute to curriculum planning, and support in- and ex-cursions and future exchanges.
This is a wonderful opportunity to join a team that celebrates professional curiosity in order to foster and cultivate linguistic confidence, fluency and cultural appreciation in our students. If you’re a thoughtful and engaging practitioner with good communication skills, who enjoys the creativity of teaching languages whilst also appreciating the intellectual puzzle of second language acquisition, then our experienced languages team might be the perfect place for you. Driven by the desire for students to be successful at a subject that is traditionally seen as being hard, the team have spent the last few years aligning our Stage 3-5 French programs to Dr Conti’s Extensive Processing Instruction (EPI) method. These programs are well established, and French is now a popular elective choice at the school.
OFG has a commitment to delivering engaging student centred learning. Our teachers support OFG’s Christian values and contribute to the wider life of the school to create a vibrant and inspirational environment for our community. Our beautiful campus has ample free parking and an on-site Barista.
