Location
This iconic Resort is situated between the renowned Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest in Tropical North Queensland. The resort comprises of 295 guest rooms, suites and villas.
Department
The Laundry Attendant position reports to the Executive Housekeeper and forms part of the Housekeeping team.
Duties will include but are not limited to
- Be familiar with all equipment used within the laundry and dry cleaning sections, including safety and cleanliness aspects.
- Ensure that cleaning fluids and chemicals are correctly used and stored.
- Be able to identify different types of fabrics and their laundering requirements.
- Be able to control and class items according to fabric and colour.
- Launder and dry clean items according to established formulas and procedures. Ensure that damaged linen or uniforms are sent to the Uniform Room for repairs or recycling.
The successful applicant will have

- Attention to detail Experience in similar role within an International standard 4 or 5 star Hotel (desirable)
