Due to growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Lawyer or Associate to join our Administrative Law and Commonwealth Compensation Practice in Sydney working with Partners, Kristina Miller and Anella Bortone.
About the team and the work
- You will work across Commonwealth jurisdictions with self-insurers and Government agencies on statutory issues, including managing claims, as well as supporting litigated proceedings.
- You will be involved in regular advocacy work in the Administrative Review Tribunal.
- This is a challenging role where you will advise the Commonwealth and various self-insured companies on a diverse range of administrative law matters in a fast-paced environment.
- You will join an established and reputable team, who will support you in your development whilst working on complex and diverse matters.

About you
- Ideally, you will have 1-2 years’ experience in a well-regarded insurance or administrative law practice.
- You will have prior litigation experience in a well-regarded insurance or administrative law practice working on statutory issues and claims and/or administrative law.
- You will have an interest in advocacy and well-developed analytical and drafting skills.
- You will need to be collaborative and have strong communication and organisational skills.
- The role suits an ambitious lawyer who is committed to clients and this area of the law, enjoys working in a driven and highly collaborative team, and settles for nothing less than excellence.
