About the Role:
We’re currently seeking a hands-on Leading Hand to join our small branch and hire yard in Kalgoorlie.
Key Duties:
- Load and unload modular buildings and hire equipment.
- Clean, inspect, and prepare units for re-hire.
- Assist with deliveries and pickups.
- Maintain yard cleanliness and organisation.
- Perform basic servicing and repairs.
- Record inspections and maintenance.
- Support customers with equipment handovers and queries.
As Leading Hand, you will also:
- Lead and supervise yard staff in daily operations.
- Oversee the inspection, cleaning, and preparation of modular units and hire equipment.
- Coordinate deliveries, pickups, and fleet movements.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and logistics.
About You:
- Valid driver’s licence (essential).
- Forklift licence (preferred).
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience.
- Physically fit and safety conscious.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
