Position Summary:
The Learning Centre Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the centre, delivering a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment for students aged 6 to 18 and their families. This role involves team leadership, compliance, customer care, and community engagement, while also supporting the growth of enrolments through local sales activities and strong parent engagement. The Manager plays a key role in maintaining high educational standards and ensuring operational and commercial success.
Key Responsibilities:Operational Duties:
- Oversee daily operations of the centre to ensure a smooth, safe, and engaging environment for all students and visitors.
- Manage and support a team of educators, including performance feedback, mentoring, and coaching quality assurance.
- Monitor member attendance, payments, send reminders, and follow up on overdue fees to support financial integrity.
- Maintain up-to-date records of operations, staff performance, and safety audits.
- Oversee curriculum delivery: ensure students are given suitably challenging tasks and remain actively engaged in learning.
- Track and report student progress through the Learning Management System (LMS) and curriculum platform.
Sales & Enrolment Duties:
- Proactively support student enrolment growth by conducting sales conversations with new enquiries—via phone, email, or in-person.
- Follow up on leads, conduct consultations and assessments, and convert enquiries into enrolments.
- Maintain a strong conversion pipeline using provided tools (e.g. CRM or enquiry tracker) and report performance to Directors.
- Guide families through onboarding and registration, including orientation sessions and paperwork.
- Build strong relationships with parents and guardians through regular updates, progress discussions, and positive engagement.
Community Engagement:
- Represent the centre at local events, school partnerships, and outreach initiatives to raise awareness and build the brand in the local community.
- Help implement local marketing initiatives as directed by the Directors (e.g. distributing flyers, supporting open days).
Centre Maintenance Duties:
- Ensure the centre is clean, safe, and presentable at all times; coordinate staff to handle classroom resets and basic housekeeping.
- Ensure classroom supplies and consumables are regularly stocked.
Safety and Emergency Duties:
- Respond to incidents as a certified First Aid responder; follow emergency protocols and report incidents promptly and thoroughly.
- Communicate clearly with families and relevant parties in case of any incidents or safety matters.
Leadership Development:
- Participate in professional development and complete initial induction requirements within 3 months.
- Share best practices with staff and contribute to continuous improvement in centre performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, management, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience in centre management, customer-facing sales, educational leadership, or STEM teaching is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement).

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
