The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our dynamic and collaborative Learning Diversity team (Middle School).
The position is based at our Heyington Campus with a status of part time (0.6) ongoing, commencing in January 2026. The role will focus on Year 7 and 8 literacy support, delivered to small groups and in one-to-one settings.
Experience in a secondary setting from Years 7 to 9 is preferred; however, applications from teachers currently working in a primary school setting are also welcome.
The successful candidate will attend classes, liaise with teachers and Pastoral Leaders to ensure students are supported. They will develop documentation to ensure Special Provision applications are completed in a timely manner and reflect student needs and voice.
Learning Diversity Teachers will case manage Learning Diversity students by liaising with family, reading and synthesising professional reports, liaising with allied health teams and run Student Support Group meetings.
As a member of the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data team they will take an active role in moderation sessions, ensure the collection and creation of appropriate documentation and ensure all support sessions are documented.
