Job Description
The School of Applied Psychology is currently recruiting for a passionate and professional Lecturer Level B- Professional Psychology.
In this role, you will make informed contributions to teaching and scholarship, while playing a key role in coordinating the academic and operational processes that support external placements for Master of Professional Psychology students. You will also provide clinical supervision, liaise with industry partners, and contribute to postgraduate teaching across the School’s professional and clinical psychology programs.
As Lecturer, you will:
- Foster an outstanding student experience through high-quality teaching and supervision.
- Support and coordinate student placements, including building strong partnerships with external agencies.
- Ensure compliance with AHPRA, PsyBA and APAC requirements for placement and supervision.
- Contribute to scholarship of teaching and learning, including evaluation, innovation, and reflective practice.
- Engage with industry, community and advisory committees to strengthen student outcomes and employability.
This is a continuing, part-time position (60%- 3 days p/w) primarily based at either our Brisbane South (Mount Gravatt) or Gold Coast campuses. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you will be required to work across other campus locations.
Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be Academic Level B range $113,226 - $134,460 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $132,474 - $157,318 per annum.

For this role you must have:
- Postgraduate qualifications in Psychology.
- Registration as a psychologist in Australia (AHPRA).
- Endorsement as a supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated ability to provide clinical supervision to postgraduate students.
- Strong engagement skills to foster partnerships with industry and placement providers.
