This position entails the operation of various steel reinforcing machinery, specifically, drop saws used for measuring and cutting steel rebar to size.
About the position:
- Use of math skills to count and measure bar thicknesses, lengths and quantities.
- Use of the overhead crane (Previous experience preferred)
- Use of a steel reo band saw to cut steel reo bars.
- Coordinating and reading drawings and inputting into machine.
- Co-ordinating and tracking orders with management.
About you:
- Previous steel reinforcing experience heavily considered!
- Must be math proficient with measuring and using basic equations.
- Must be a team player.
- Must be reliable and Punctual.
- Be able to coordinate with management.
