About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Machinery Supervisor to oversee the operation, maintenance, and scheduling of our farming machinery and equipment. This is a full-time position suited to someone with strong leadership and technical expertise in agricultural machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day operation of tractors, harvesters, irrigation systems, and other farming machinery.
- Implement preventative maintenance schedules and ensure all equipment is kept in safe, working condition.
- Train, guide, and oversee machine operators and farm workers in the correct use of machinery.
- Monitor and report on machinery performance, repairs, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
- Assist in planning and coordinating farm production activities that rely on machinery.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in supervising and operating agricultural machinery.
- Strong technical and mechanical knowledge of farming equipment.
- Ability to lead and train staff effectively.
- Commitment to workplace safety and sustainable farming practices.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
