Lake Lucas Almonds Pty Ltd is a dedicated grower and producer of high-quality almonds based in Meilman East, Euston NSW 2737. Lake Lucas Almonds Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time qualified Machinery Supervisor who is committed to working in regional New South Wales on a long-term basis.
Salary is $76,515 per annum plus super.
The Machinery Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the machinery operation, maintenance and coordination of machinery used for harvesting, irrigation, packaging and logistics.
The Machinery Supervisor will be responsible for the following tasks:
· Operate a wide variety of agriculture and packaging machinery and equipment.
· Assist with maintenance of machines where necessary.
· Perform machinery maintenance to mitigate the negative impact of equipment-related issues, service, and breakdowns.
· Supervise and coordinate employees who operate machines.
· Prepare work schedules, assign work and oversee the work.
· Ensure machine operation is done correctly and compliant with safety procedures.
Required qualifications and/or experience:
· A relevant AQF Diploma or equivalent; OR
· At least 3 years of relevant experience.
Ideal background and skills:
· Previous work experience as a Farm Mechanic or Farm Equipment Maintenance Supervisor within the Agriculture/Horticulture industry is highly desirable
· Excellent communication skills
· Knowledge and experience of agricultural production principles
· Possess advanced knowledge and experience in farming machinery maintenance
