About the Role

As a Mechanical Maintainer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our assets. Working within our maintenance management framework, you’ll carry out essential mechanical maintenance tasks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled mechanical maintenance tasks
  • Identify and report defects using the Rio Tinto Business Solution (RTBS)
  • Raise notifications and complete work orders
  • Support defect elimination and contribute to asset performance reviews
  • Follow job instructions and work orders with precision
  • Commission equipment post-maintenance and ensure clean-up is completed
