At PGH Bricks, part of the CSR Group, we've been shaping Australian homes and communities for generations. Now, we're looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to take the reins at our Cecil Park site in Western Sydney.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for planning, scheduling, and delivering all maintenance activities on site-ensuring safety, reliability, and performance go hand-in-hand. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you'll play a critical role in leading your team and keeping our plant running at its best.
This role is ideal for a collaborative leader with a strong background in maintenance management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Leading and developing a high-performing Maintenance team to deliver efficient, cost-effective outcomes.
Managing preventative and reactive maintenance across all plant assets, including planning for plant shutdowns.
Driving site reliability and asset performance through structured planning and execution of maintenance strategies.
Working closely with contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure full compliance with WHSE requirements.
Maintaining control over maintenance budgets and operating costs.
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and equipment optimisation.
What you bring to the role:
- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade qualifications.
- Proven experience in Maintenance or Engineering Management within a manufacturing operations environment.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing a high-performing Maintenance team and fostering a positive culture.
- Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), with SAP experience preferred.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and in-depth knowledge of a wide range of equipment.
- A safety-first mindset, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
