About the position:

  • Permanent role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Planner to join our Planning Team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering weekly maintenance schedules, coordinating small outages and maintaining master data to ensure clarity in work processes. You will also oversee reporting and governance for site Mechanical Services Infrastructure.

Your key responsibilities will include creating safe, high-quality maintenance plans in collaboration with maintenance teams, ensuring alignment with work management processes. A strong focus on workflow management will be essential to track work completion, assess the effectiveness of maintenance plans, and optimise terminal reliability.

You will be:

  • A highly organised person, able to prioritise work and plan your week accordingly
  • A problem solver with excellent communication, planning and scheduling skills
  • Committed to continuous improvement processes and change management
  • Able to achieve outcomes through coaching and mentoring of the maintenance teams
  • A motivated team member who wants to achieve the desired outcomes of the business

You will have:

  • Relevant trade qualifications or similar e.g. Fitter and Turner trade or mechanical background
  • Knowledge and experience in short term maintenance planning
  • Experience using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) - JDE or similar
  • The desire to make a difference in your area of accountability
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a high performing team
  • Knowledge of and experience in the application of modern maintenance methods
  • Experience in a continuous processing and large-scale materials handling environment is essential
