We are seeking a suitably qualified Maintenance Planner to join our operations team based in Maddington, Western Australia. As the Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities, ensuring all tasks are executed efficiently and effectively. You will utilise your expertise and proficiency in a computerised maintenance management system, to maintain the technical integrity and operation of our heavy lifting and transport equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain detailed maintenance plans and schedules for electrical and instrumentation systems;
· Utilise Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to manage work orders and maintenance tasks;
· Use MS Excel, and MS Project to create and manage schedules and reports;
· Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to Australian, PNG and New Caledonia safety standards and regulations;
· Monitor and report on maintenance performance, identifying areas for improvement;
· Co-ordinate and communicate effectively with team members, contractors and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and execution of maintenance plans; and
· Focus on safety, production, technical integrity and budget adherence in all planning and scheduling activities.
Qualifications:
· Mechanical or diesel engineer qualification or trade;
· Proficient in the use of CMMS;
· Experience with MS Excel, and MS Project;
· Highly effective verbal and written communication skills;
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to present information clearly and effectively;
· Strong focus on safety, production, technical integrity and budget; and
· Three years of planning/scheduling experience in a similar heavy lift and transport industry.
