The opportunity
As our Manager HR Business Partnering, you will:
Lead HR business partners service delivery across the department to align workforce strategies with operational needs and strategic goals.
Manage and mentor a team of HR Business Partners, building capability to support employee life cycle including high-quality, consistent human resource practices and processes to build and maintain highly motivated, skilled and productive work teams. Drive capability uplift and foster a culture of continuous improvement and personal development across the HR Business Partner Team.
Provide professional advice and influence decision-making on complex people matters including policy interpretation, change management, conduct and performance management, workforce planning, and employee relations.
Lead the design and implementation of HR projects, frameworks, and initiatives that improve workforce culture and support business transformation.
Facilitate conversations and establish strong partnership between business leaders and expert advisors from other parts of HR to collectively design effective solutions.
Support executive and senior leadership in navigating organisational change, cultural development, and leadership capability.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior executives and operational managers, to create working partnerships and high level of understanding of client needs to promote a culture of partnership and accountability.
Monitor workforce metrics and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and inform evidence-based decision-making.
Contribute to whole-of-government HR initiatives and represent the department in inter-agency working groups and forums.
Promote and uphold a culture of integrity, inclusion, wellbeing and continuous improvement within the People and Culture business area and the broader department.
You may also have: -
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or relevant transferable experience would be desirable.
