About the role
The Manager - Marketing (Product) Global manages the development and implementation of effective Global strategies and plans which will provide sustainable competitive advantage and maximise the growth and long-term profitability of designated portfolio.
What you will be doing
- Owns and drives the product category strategy across global mining markets;
- Develops and implements strategies for market optimization, competitor analysis, supply-demand modeling, and risk management;
- Aligns product market plans with manufacturing, distribution, and commercial strategies;
- Supports technology teams with market insights, value propositions, and commercialization strategies;
- Leads pricing strategy development, considering regional competition and leveraging Orica’s strengths;
- Builds market segmentation models and value propositions to drive growth;
- Ensures compliance with regulatory and product stewardship standards;
- Identifies growth opportunities and strategic partnerships;
- Acts as the marketing authority in customer engagements and provides product expertise; and
- Oversees product portfolio development in line with business strategy.
What you will bring
- Minimum 8 years experience post professional qualification, including 5 years of directpeople management experience;
- Proven ability to lead a team, including building a collaborative approach in thedevelopment of the direction and operations of the workstream;
- Proven influencer, able to manage processes across multiple stakeholder group;
- Experience in implementing process improvement initiatives would be desirable;
- Demonstrated skills associated with building strong vendor &/or customer relationships; and
- Financial accumen & budgeting experience.
