Your Key Accountabilities:
The core capability requirements for this role are:
Provide high level quality advice and support to Senior Executives, including the Minister for Police on organisational issues in the national context.
Represent the Division and manage liaison and coordination with stakeholders in the development and delivery of strategic policy in the national context.
Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of the National Liaison Office, ensuring the effective management of staff, functions and resources to deliver high-quality outcomes aligned with organisational priorities and strategic objectives.
Build and sustain partnerships and networks with key internal and external stakeholders and negotiate outcomes to support the achievement of expected service delivery outcomes.
Provide high level strategic direction in the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of business strategies and initiatives in the national context.
Foster and maintain a work environment committed to professional standards, ethical practices and continuous improvement.
Role Requirements:
Technical/ Operational/ Educational experience
Previous experience in Government policy, criminology, and/or inter-jurisdictional engagement will be highly desirable.

The role may require some interstate travel.
