The Eczema Association of Australasia Inc. (EAA) is seeking a professional, organised, and reliable Marketing and Communications Officer to join our small but passionate team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, thrives on meeting deadlines, and is keen to make a real difference in the lives of people living with eczema.
You'll play a key role in growing awareness of our services, promoting membership, and supporting our wider team with communications and marketing activities across both Australia and New Zealand.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating and scheduling email campaigns using MailChimp and ZOHO Campaigns, including nurture sequences
- Create, proof and schedule weekly and monthly EDM newsletters
- Create, proof and schedule social media posts, EDMs and blogs with corporate partners
- Managing and updating the EAA website via WordPress, adding new pages, content, blogs, resources etc
- Creating, editing and updating professional quality resources using Canva Professional, such as information sheets, booklets, and resource materials
- Assisting with social media campaigns, Facebook group administration, and community engagement on social media platforms
- Supporting marketing efforts to drive membership growth and community awareness
- Researching content for our quarterly magazine, Living with Eczema
- Providing marketing and communication support to other team members across projects
- Assisting in the development of new resources, and upload of same to our website
- Using Zoho One applications to assist with internal communications, database updates, and project coordination
- Undertaking general administrative tasks as required

Essential skills and experience:
- Demonstrated experience in marketing, communications, or a related field
- Proficient with MailChimp, including automations and campaign management
- Confident using WordPress for website updates and maintenance
- Experience designing documents and resources in Canva Professional
- Experience managing social media and Facebook groups in a professional capacity
- Familiarity with Zoho One or similar digital platforms
- Familiarity with paid social media campaigns and generating reports and statistics from all platforms
- Strong computer and database skills (including CRM and Excel or similar tools)
Essential requirements:
- A valid driver’s licence (some errands involved)
- Willingness to undergo a police check
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Hours & Flexibility:
- 3 days per week (15 hours weekly, 5 hours a day, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)
- Possibility to grow to 21-24 hours weekly over time
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $32.00 – $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 21 – 24 per week
