About the opportunity and our B2B marketing team
This role drives marketing automation solutions for our business customers, to whom we provide freight services. It is placed within our Parcels, Post & eCommerce division. Which as the B2B section of Australia Post, encompasses product management, sales, insights and analytics and the B2B marketing team in which this role is located.
Reporting into our Senior Manager of Marketing & Sales Enablement, who is an established member of the Australia Post team with a deep understanding of our business, this is an essential part of delivering on our B2B marketing and sales enablement strategy.
Alongside a colleague in the team, you would support the business by leading the design and execution of automation programs, Martech solutions and customer lifecycle initiatives. In a time of great systems change and capability uplift across the business, you can be part of an exciting growth period of Australia Post, as we cement our place as the preferred freight services provider in eCommerce in Australia.
The role is based in our Melbourne Support Office, on 480 Swan Street in Richmond and right next to Burnley train station. Your day to day environment will be sitting with the wider B2B marketing team in a comfortable, light filled, spacious, user friendly office with excellent public transport links.
What you’ll deliver with us
Using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and our data you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated business customer journeys and nurture programs. This could be a range of journeys that you own, across several stages of the customer lifecycle and different segments of our customer base.
By working with a world class Martech stack like Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Seismic (for sales enablement) and more. You will be enabled to make sophisticated, data driven marketing automations, reactive journeys to customer behaviour and personalisation.
In this role you will:
- Use Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, customer data and web personalisation. You can connect experiences to create omnichannel journeys for our customers with a deep level of personalisation that helps drive positive customer behaviour and help proactively address service issues.
- Drive scalable automation solutions, translating complex business needs into smart, scalable automation workflows that improve efficiency and enhance customer experience.
- Design and implement automated B2B programs, including customer journeys, nurture campaigns, to accelerate revenue growth, improve retention, digital engagement and optimise lifecycle marketing.
- Demonstrate your measurable impact, using data and analytics to continuously improve campaign effectiveness and return on investment.
- Support the sales team through the administration of the Seismic sales enablement system, giving you access to the frontline sales teams.
- Collaborate across the enterprise, partnering across our Parcels, Post & eCommerce Services division to deliver integrated automations that accelerate revenue growth and deepen our customer relationships.
About you
You will be an experienced Martech professional, ideally with lifecycle exposure or a deep working relationship with a lifecycle team in your prior automation roles. You will be excited by the eCommerce and Freight Industry and about our mission of connecting businesses in Australia to their consumers.
You’ll also need:
- Hands on experience with key platforms int eh B2B Martech stack such as Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Data Cloud, Seismic.
- Excellent data literacy, both in the retrieval and cleaning of data and the presentation and visualisation of data.
- A collaborative nature and demonstrated ability to work across a multi-team, matrixed, large organisation at scale.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and an ability to think laterally and make data driven decisions.
- A strong ability to work across different stakeholder groups, and deliver messages to the right people at the right time.
