Position Overview

Arndell Anglican College is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher for a permanent full-time role commencing Term 1 2026.

Reporting to the Head of Mathematics, the successful candidate will join a collaborative and professional Mathematics team. The role involves inspiring student learning, promoting academic growth, and cultivating a love for Mathematics.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics across Stages 4 to 6.
• Design and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons tailored to diverse learning needs.
• Foster a positive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Use a variety of effective teaching strategies, including scaffolding and differentiation.
• Prepare students for national assessments and competitions.
• Provide consistent and constructive assessment and feedback.

About You

You are a qualified teacher with the capacity to teach Mathematics from Stage 4 to Stage 6. You demonstrate strong organisation, effective classroom management, and a deep passion for educating young people. You are also:

• Skilled in engaging students across a range of abilities and interests.
• Collaborative and professional, with a desire to contribute to a supportive school community.
