Mathematics Teacher
Full-time and ongoing | Iona College Geelong | Commencing Term 1, 2026
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our dynamic teaching team. The successful candidate will inspire and engage students in their mathematical learning, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a love for learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons across a range of year levels.
- Differentiate teaching to cater for diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assess, record and report on student progress in line with school policies.
- Contribute to the development of curriculum and innovative teaching practices.
- Actively participate in the broader school community, including co-curricular activities and events.
About You:
- Hold relevant tertiary qualifications in Education.
- Current VIT registration (or eligibility for registration).
- Strong subject knowledge with a passion for teaching Mathematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and parents.
- Commitment to professional learning and continuous improvement.
