Imaging Associates is a progressive and premium provider of radiology services, owned and operated by a team of highly respected Radiologists.
With clinics located across Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs, Gippsland, and Wagga Wagga, and more opening in late 2025 and throughout 2026, we are expanding our centralised team at our Box Hill Support Office.
We are currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to join us on our growth journey – a role that plays a vital part in shaping the first impression our patients receive and ensuring the smooth, compassionate experience Imaging Associates is known for.
What will you be doing?
As the first point of contact via phone, you’ll play a vital role in supporting patients through their medical imaging journey. You’ll manage inbound calls, providing clear and compassionate communication while handling bookings, enquiries, and follow-ups across our Melbourne clinics.
Whether you're an experienced Medical Receptionist, or someone with strong contact centre experience looking to step into the healthcare sector, this role offers variety, support, and professional growth in a values-driven environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Handling inbound calls and answering patient inquiries in a calm, professional manner
- Managing patient bookings, rescheduling, and cancellations
- Providing information to patients and referrers regarding imaging services
- Maintaining patient records accurately and confidentially
- Performing administrative tasks to support the wider team
- Supporting billing tasks including invoicing and receipting
What are we looking for?
To be successful, you will need to have:
- Strong customer service skills and communication skills
- Experience working autonomously and part of a team
- A high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
- Confidence with technology and the ability to manage multiple systems while speaking with patients
- Availability to work across a rotating roster between 8am and 6pm, Mon-Fri
- Previous Radiology or Booking Centre/Contact Centre experience (highly regarded)
