Clinic Manager (9-Month Maternity Leave Cover)

Start Date: Part-time training (3 days/week) leading to full-time by end of November 2025
Employment Type: Maternity Cover – Approx. 9 months (Full-time or part-time considered for the right candidate)
We are seeking an experienced Clinic Manager to join our team for a 9-month maternity leave cover. This role will begin with part-time training (3 days/week) and transition to full-time by the end of November 2025, for a 6-month period.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who is proactive, organised, and has a strong background in clinic or healthcare management. You will play a key role in supporting a collaborative, high-performing team and ensuring the clinic operates efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and develop the clinical and technical team to foster a positive team culture.
- Drive improvements in clinic operations, efficiency, and client retention.
- Oversee day-to-day operations including scheduling, stock/inventory, and facility maintenance.
- Manage invoicing, accounts receivable, and clinic financial performance. (Experience with MYOB is desirable.)
- Coordinate the patient calendar and scheduling across multiple clinics.
- Liaise with public and private hospitals and healthcare providers.
- Maintain confidential patient records and files in accordance with privacy regulations.
About You
You are a confident leader with a passion for high-quality patient care and continuous improvement. You will bring a mix of administrative expertise, strong interpersonal skills, and experience in managing teams within a clinical or healthcare setting.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a management or team leadership role (healthcare or clinical setting preferred).
- Strong communication and team-building skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts calmly and professionally.
- Experience with patient funding support programs (including the NDIS).
- Sound understanding of patient rights and confidentiality.
- Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a small team.
