Medical Receptionist – Join Our Friendly Team!
Location: Camberwell Medical Group
Job Type: Casual (2 days/week to start – up to 5 days/week from September)
Hours: Monday to Friday only (8am - 6pm).
We are looking for someone new to join our lovely team at the front desk! We want somebody reliable, motivated at work, and friendly. Great opportunity for somebody looking for a long-term role in medical admin or just looking to get into the industry. Immediate start available.
About the Role:
As a Medical Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for our patients. Your role will include:
- Greeting and assisting patients in person and over the phone
- Booking and managing appointments
- Processing Medicare and private billing
- Supporting doctors and nurses with admin tasks
- Keeping patient information accurate and confidential
What We’re Looking For:
- No experience required – but any previous customer service, hospitality, or reception work will be highly regarded
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good attention to detail and time management
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
- A friendly and professional attitude
