Job Summary
- We require a part time receptionist to join our close knit team in Toorak . If you thrive in a team environment this role could be perfect.
- Ideal candidate must have best practice experience.
- You will be the first point of contact for all patients. You must be able to multi-task at a fast pace, answer calls and greet patients in a warm and professional manner. Attend to the high demands of our doctors
- Able to be authoritative and play a gatekeeper role for our doctors
- Demonstrate an understanding of basic health knowledge
Responsibilities include: * Greeting patients
- Scheduling appointments
- Scanning and data management of medical records
- Preparation of patient accounts
- Medicare Batching
- Private billing
- Setting up of consulting rooms
- Skills
- Willingness to learn and work as a team.
- Previous experience in administration/customer care in a combined face-to-face and over email/telephone environment is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Enthusiastic and energetic personality.
- Ability to follow instructions and meet set standards.
- Dependable and reliable in character and possess a strong work ethic. Excellent communication and a strong customer service ethos
