Gwelup Medical Centre is seeking a bubbly enthusiastic, experienced medical receptionist who will be the perfect fit for our family friendly team.
The Medical Receptionist role is the primary point of contact for our patients, doctors and allied health providers.
The successful applicant would be working a minimum 20 hours per week. Hours would be between 7.00am to 7.00pm from Monday to Friday.
- Greeting patient
- Handling a variety of patients phone call enquiries.
- Booking appointments and entering patient data
- Generating invoices and receiving payments
- Processing Medicare Claims
- Handling of incoming mail and preparation of mail to send
- Maintaining doctor’s bookings and schedules
- Being responsive to other team member requests
- Taking all doctors requests in a timely manner
- Other ad hoc administration as required
Requirements: 2 years of experience in a similar role within the medical field.
- Be able to work in a team.
- Best Practice Software experience beneficial but not essential
- Excellent computer abilities including Microsoft Office
- Exceptional phone manner
- Be able to multitask and priorities at all times
