Hanbury Family Practice is seeking a friendly and efficient Medical Receptionist to join our team in Mayfield, NSW. This is a part-time role, offering flexibility and work-life balance. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and supporting the smooth running of our busy medical practice.
What you'll be doing
- Greeting and welcoming patients upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression
- Scheduling appointments, managing patient records and coordinating bookings
- Handling telephone enquiries and directing calls to the appropriate staff members
- Maintaining a professional and organised reception area
- Assisting with administrative tasks as required
- Providing a high level of customer service and care to our valued patients
What we're looking for
- Previous experience working in a medical reception or administrative role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with patients, doctors and other staff
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to multitask
- Proficiency in using medical software and computer systems
- A friendly, professional and compassionate approach to patient care
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality

Pay: $38,469.14 – $73,920.72 per year
