This part-time Medical Receptionist role at Western gynaecology is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrative professional to join a dynamic and caring healthcare team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, managing the clinic's front-of-house operations, and supporting the clinical staff in their day-to-day activities.
What you'll be doing
- Greeting and welcoming patients to the clinic in a friendly and professional manner
- Efficiently managing patient enquiries, bookings, and rescheduling
- Maintaining accurate patient records and data entry
- Handling confidential information with the utmost care and discretion
- Assisting with the coordination of the clinic's daily operations
- Providing general administrative support to the medical team as required
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar customer service-focused role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with patients, clinicians, and other stakeholders
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Proficiency in using medical software and computer systems especially Genie or agents
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
