About the opportunity:
The Member Education Manager is responsible for developing education plans and engagement strategies that align with the Fund’s strategic plans and retention strategy. Education and engagements will be developed using insights and will create exemplary member experiences across multiple channels including seminars, webinars, workplace education and digital.
This role will deliver education to members and be responsible for developing strong stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally. They will manage significant programs of work designed to ensure Super SA’s members, employers and stakeholders are garnered with up to date, and relevant information regarding their superannuation.
The Member Education Manager will also be responsible for driving the development and enhancement of the customer experience through a solution-focused approach to information systems and operational processes.
About you
You’re a confident communicator and strategic thinker who thrives in a collaborative environment. You bring a proactive mindset and the ability to work autonomously. You have experience managing complex programs of work and excel at building trusted internal and external relationships to deliver impactful strategically aligned member education initiatives.
Ideally, you have a background in finance or superannuation, or you possess exceptional presentation and facilitation skills that allow you to translate complex information into clear, engaging content. You’re passionate about helping people understand their financial future and are driven to make a meaningful difference in members’ lives.
To be successful, you must address the selection criteria below in a cover letter:
- Excellent presentation, public speaking and engagement skills, with the ability to identify appropriate forums of communications and engagement.
- Industry experiences relevant to superannuation, financial services, communication or member education.
- Excellent strategic skills and the ability to translate complex information into a tailored member education experience.
- Flexibility to deal with multiple demands and members at one time and to adjust your approach to meet member need.
- Ability to work independently, under limited direction, exercise initiative and to make decisions without prompting.
- Completion of Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) RG146, or willingness to complete within 12 months of commencement.

Remuneration
ASO6 – $98,478 min - $104,165 max per annum, plus superannuation
