Imagine finishing your workday and being 20 minutes from the beach, mountain trails, or a good coffee in a laid-back hinderland town. Paulger Engineering, a trusted local name in truck body fabrication, is looking for an experienced Metal Fabricator to join our close-knit team.
We build truck bodies, service bodies, crane trucks, tippers, and more, and we’re seeking someone who values quality workmanship and enjoys seeing projects through from blueprint to finished product.
Your role will include:
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings to fabricate precision metal components
- Measuring, cutting, bending, and shaping metals with hand tools and machinery
- Welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) and assembling parts to create complete structures
- Ensuring every job meets our high standards for quality and safety
- Working collaboratively with a team who takes pride in what they build
What you’ll bring:
- Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (or equivalent)
- Proven fabrication and welding expertise
- Pride in producing accurate, top-quality work
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- A commitment to workplace safety
