Mine Technician - Drill & Blast

The Role
The successful person will become a member of a small hardworking and committed team responsible for overseeing and implementing all tasks associated with blasting operations onsite.

You will be responsible for:

Providing labour to support the implementation of drilling schedules, drilling plans and pattern mark ups where required
Working with the Blast Crew in carrying out blasting operations as per design and schedule
Assisting with blast reporting so that it is carried out to the required standard
Personal and professional continuous development within the Blast Crew team
Assisting other Mining Technicians across the Mining Department as required

About You
This role would suit a qualified and practised individual with blast crew experience in an open pit mining environment. Persons with skilled labour backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
You will also have:

A Western Australian Dangerous Goods Security Card
A Western Australian C Class Drivers Licence
The ability to work autonomously
Suitable fitness for long field days
