We are seeking a reliable and experienced Ride-On Mower Operator to join our grounds maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating ride-on mowers to maintain lawns and other large outdoor areas to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate ride-on mowers safely and efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment
- Mow and maintain large grassed areas such as parks and road side
- Identify and report hazards or maintenance issues
- Follow site safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with other groundskeeping tasks as required (e.g. edging, leaf blowing)
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating ride-on mowers (preferred)
- Ability in reading of Maps ensures efficient navigation in accuarte job site location, and working in unfamiliar environments
- Understanding of safe work practices and equipment handling
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license (essential)
- Valid White Card (essential)
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $25.09 – $38.14 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
