About the opportunity
The University of Sydney is welcoming applications for a detailed-oriented and customer focused MyLab Customer Service Officer to join the team and provide high-quality transactional support to staff and students at the University of Sydney.
In this role, the MyLab Customer Service Officer will manage requests lodged through the MyLab self-service portal, ensuring accurate data entry and timely processing of requisitions within University systems, including UniBuy/Ariba. You will work across a range of platforms such as MyLab (Jaggaer Research Material Management), PeopleSoft Financials and the Unibuy system as required, with responsibility for entering and managing requisition data, analysing transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and delivering efficient, professional support to the University community.

Your key responsibilities will be to:
perform daily data entry activities and provide service support
conduct the transferring of requisitions from the MyLab system into the financial system (UniBuy/Ariba)
ensure all information is accurately transcribed into the new requisitions
ensure all items are tracked, including the maintenance of the tracking spreadsheet
respond to customer enquiries, questions, requests, and processing tasks lodged through multiple channels
liaise with customers to resolve errors via telephone or email
investigate, analyse and resolve errors, customer enquiries or processing tasks
work collaboratively with the wider MyLab team, procurement services and UniBuy Desk staff members and management, as well as other groups, cohorts and stakeholders across the University.
About you

demonstrated experience in a customer focused/oriented role
experience managing customer transactions whilst following policies and procedures
ability to use a range of online systems, including PeopleSoft, Ariba, and MyLab (Jaggaer System) as well as other systems
proficiency in computer systems, including full suite of Microsoft applications and Excel
ability to effectively prioritise workloads
effective problem identification and troubleshooting skills
excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and oral.
