Full-Time Nanny | Rose Bay NSW | Ongoing Position
Start Date: 1 September 2025
Location: Rose Bay, NSW 2029
Pay ]Annual salary, superannuation, four weeks annual leave and two weeks paid sick leave. If required to stay overnight additional remuneration will be provided at a pre agreed rate.

Days Hours:
5 days per week Mon - Fri - 40 hours per week (exact days/hours can be finalised with the nanny)
Daytime hours include time off when kids are at school/kindy, plus occasional errands (e.g., lunch supplies, kids essentials)
The role requires occasional weekend work, evening work, flexibility to travel interstate and overseas- the family spends a lot of time in Sweden. On occasion the role may also require the applicants to start or finish outside of normal working hour.
We are seeking an experienced, calm, and highly organised full-time nanny to join a family in Rose Bay, NSW on a permanent, ongoing basis. You will primarily be caring for the two children a 6-year-old and a 4 year old focusing on school drop-offs/pick-ups, after-school care. This role suits someone who enjoys working in a family environment and can take initiative, while also being flexible with scheduling during school hours.
Ideal Candidate:
- Calm, positive, and highly organised
- Can build a strong relationship with the children
- Confident and experienced with young children and infants
- Flexible with scheduling
- Good communicator and proactive with household needs
- Comfortable around dogs (the family have two friendly dogs)
Typical Day and Responsibilities:
- Organising and planning fun, creative, and engaging activities/outings
- Care for sick children
- Maintaining all aspects of the care routine for the children
- School/kindy drop-offs pick-ups
- After-school routines, homework support, and play
- Driving to/from activities (family car provided)
- Preparing nutritious meals/snacks for the kids
- Keep bedrooms and play area tidy
- Running errands may be required (e.g., walking the dogs, post office run or getting groceries).
- Light household duties (e.g., washing and folding and tidying up).
- Evening babysitting once per week
Expectations:
- 3+ years of experience as a nanny or working in child care
- Childcare qualifications preferred but not essential
- ]Understanding in Child Development
- Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
- Have a current Working With Children s Check
- Display excellent communication and writing skills
- Speak English. Bonus if you also speak Swedish.
- Non smoking
- Full drivers license and clean driving record (family car provided for work use)
