The Opportunity
This is your chance to shape how organisations across ANZ harness AI to deliver real business outcomes. As National Solutions Advisor – AI Business, you’ll lead consultative engagements across Microsoft Data, AI, and Business Applications—including Azure, Microsoft Fabric/Power BI, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, and Copilots. Working with AMs and BDMs, you’ll progress opportunities, shape customer roadmaps, and align outcomes to business value—positioning CBS as a challenger to large consultancies with enterprise-grade thinking at a compelling midmarket proposition.
The Difference
This role is consultative, not transactional, focused on outcomes and value realisation over product push. You’ll engage with CIOs, CTOs, CFOs, COOs, and business leaders to link AI to measurable impact, while influencing go-to-market strategy across Australia and New Zealand. By driving senior-level momentum and ensuring clear handoffs to presales, you’ll shape strategy, de-risk delivery, and reinforce CBS’s position as the challenger consultancy for Data, AI, and Business Applications in ANZ.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Strategic Advisory & Business Engagement: Lead executive discussions on AI strategy, data foundations, responsible AI, and business transformation; run discovery, envisioning, and demos linking initiatives to ROI, risk, and time to value.
- Customer Growth: Partner with AMs to qualify opportunities with current customers and support BDMs in opening net-new accounts across target verticals, shaping next best actions and workshops.
- Value Realisation & Roadmaps: Define customer AI roadmaps to maximise ROI, scale pilots, and ensure business-aligned outcomes.
- Partner Ecosystem & Practice Alignment: Leverage Microsoft and ISV partnerships for co-sell and campaigns; coordinate with practice leads to align opportunities to capacity and ensure smooth handoffs to Presales Architects.
- Internal Enablement & GTM Leadership: Upskill AMs/BDMs, develop AI solution plays, contribute to sales strategy, GTM execution, pipeline, and proposals.
- Thought Leadership: Represent CBS at events and publish content showcasing AI and business application outcomes.

What You’ll Bring
You’ll bring a proven track record in IT-based sales, consultancy, or solution sales, with the ability to translate complex business challenges into AI, Data, and Business Applications solutions. Comfortable engaging with mid-market to enterprise clients and C-level executives, you combine commercial and strategic acumen with technical depth to deliver measurable business outcomes. You thrive in fast-paced environments, leveraging vendor partnerships and internal teams to drive results.
- Strong B2B experience with mid-market to enterprise customers
- Proven success selling Microsoft Data, AI, and Business Applications (Azure, Fabric/Power BI, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Copilots)
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in IT-based sales, consultancy, or solution sales
- Experience delivering complex solutions with tangible business outcomes
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work to strict deadlines, budgets, and fast-paced environments
- Ability to leverage vendor relationships to support solution design and presentations
- Full understanding of end-to-end IT solution sales and project delivery lifecycle
- Strong commercial and strategic business acumen
- Understanding of client business, technical requirements, and IT environments
- Microsoft certifications such as DP, AI, PL, MB, and Fabric-aligned credentials highly regarded
