Location: Oakhurst, NSW
Days/Times: Tuesdays & Thursdays 9:00am – 3:00pm + one Saturday/fortnight
Macquarie Care is seeking a reliable, and experienced NDIS support worker to support a young, non-verbal boy in Oakhurst, NSW.
The role involves:
Providing high-level personal care, including assistance with eating and toileting (nappy changing)
Engaging in play-based activities that support sensory and emotional regulation
Offering routine and structure in a gentle, patient manner
Assisting with community access and outings, where appropriate
Must Have:
Valid Drivers License
Experience working with children with autism and/or non-verbal communication
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or cleared Police Check) and Working With Children Check
First Aid/CPR and up-to-date training
Calm, caring and proactive approach
