We’re looking for a motivated and skilled Workshop Mechanic to join our production team. You’ll play a key role in the mechanical fit-out, assembly, and final preparation of our new off-road campers and caravans.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical assembly of new off-road campers and caravans, including suspension, braking systems, drawbars, wheels, and underbody components.
- Fit and align towing systems, couplings, hitches, and jockey wheels.
- Install and connect 12V electrical components (basic wiring, lights, plugs) and assist electricians as required.
- Carry out plumbing installations for water tanks, pumps, taps, and fittings.
- Assemble and install internal and external fixtures, kitchens, awnings, and accessories.
- Perform quality checks to ensure all mechanical and assembly work meets our high standards.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment in line with WHS requirements.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly, auto mechanics, or trailer/caravan building.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery safely and effectively.
- Understanding of mechanical systems, suspension setups, and trailer/caravan components.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
- Experience with 12V electrical systems and basic wiring.
- Knowledge of caravan compliance standards and regulations.
- Forklift licence or relevant trade qualifications.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
