Position: Night Cleaning Supervisor
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Role Summary
The Night Supervisor provides essential after-hours support across cleaning operations in the Northern Beaches region. This role ensures smooth service delivery by assisting management, guiding night cleaners, and maintaining safety and quality standards. While some tasks may not be required nightly, the supervisor should be ready to step in when needed, whether that’s operating equipment, covering shifts, or resolving issues. Flexibility, initiative, and clear communication are key.
Responsibilities
- Assist management teams with after-hours requests, including job follow-ups, deliveries, and staff training
- Provide guidance and support to night cleaners, addressing training needs, quality concerns, and coverage for sick or annual leave
- Maintain a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to resolving operational issues as they arise
- Operate carpet and scrubber machines to assist cleaners when needed (not essential but may be required)
- Ensure compliance with WHS regulations across all sites, including proper use of uniforms and safety cleaning equipment
- Monitor and respond to group chat communications during scheduled work hours to address any issues or updates
- Use mobile phone apps to check schedules and coordinate tasks efficiently
- Provide coverage for the City Night Supervisor during holiday periods (not essential but may be required)
Weekly Operational Expectations (Summary)
- Submit all timesheets and purchase requests
- Coordinate with operations to manage schedules and scope of work
- Review previous week for improvements and resolve outstanding issues
- Confirm audits, review meetings, and Monday readiness
- Ensure cleaning cloths are returned and refreshed
- Conduct cleaners room audits and maintain tidy conditions
- Visit key accounts in accordance with the territory planning schedule; and problematic accounts nightly if needed
- Deliver training and reassign cleaners using standard procedures as required.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
1. All issues raised in account manager reports are resolved in 2 business days
2. Complaints are addressed with corrective actions to prevent recurrence
3. Regular meeting held with Operations Manager (method & frequency tbc)
4. Records maintained of visits and quality inspections conducted.
5. Key accounts visited consistently
6. Cleaners rooms are maintained in a tidy, compliant state

Pay: $36.00 per hour
