About the role:
Reporting to the Area Operations Manager, you will be accountable for ensuring that the operation and driving of the Truck & Trailer is done in a manner which promotes quality and reliability.
- Based at our Glen Forbes, VIC Concrete Plant
- Permanent, Full-time opportunity
- Night shift Monday to Friday, start times between 4:30- 6pm
- No weekend work
- Overtime available
- Metro Bound deliveries
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering Aggregates to our concrete plants, and providing good customer service
- Pre-start checks and daily cleaning of the Truck & Trailer.
- Operating the vehicle in a safe manner & comply with safety policies
- Loading and Unloading of aggregates
- Providing feedback to the operations & business regarding customer experience
- Operate in accordance with traffic regulations both on and off the road.
About you:
- An HC (Heavy Combination) licence
- Experience driving heavy combination vehicles.
- A strong commitment to safety, health & environmental responsibilities
- Ability to deliver our product to plants efficiently, and safely
- A strong customer service focus
- Well-developed communication skills
In addition, you must hold valid Australian work rights with no limitations on hours or duration of employment. You will also be required to successfully complete a pre-employment medical including a functional assessment as well as a drug and alcohol screening.
