Picking Orders
Pick orders in time to meet the home delivery cut off windows
Ensure picked articles are in good condition and are not damaged
or soiled
Place complete orders in the packing area
Place incomplete orders in the review area
Reviews
Action reviews at 10am and 2pm daily
General
Maintain picking equipment including trolleys, bags, tubs, etc.
Review and resolve customer escalations and DOT cancellations
Check Orders
Ensure that all articles are correct, contain all parts, and in good
condition before packing
Check for EAS tags and hangers, and remove where applicable
Packing & Staging (ULD)
Pack orders in time to meet the home delivery cut off windows
Pack same day/2 day delivery orders as a priority
Follow the packing standards guide to pack articles carefully inside
boxes or satchels
Place shipping labels and any other required warning labels on
each parcel
Place orders in the relevant ULD or carrier pallet for collection
General
Maintain packing areas including IT equipment, and keep packing
stations clean and tidy
Complete the manifest when orders are ready to dispatch
Daily
Review order forecast and allocate team members to tasks to meet
the 2 pickers to 1 packer ratio (Hub only)
Monitor picking and packing standards and coach team
Review and action customer escalations & DOT cancellations
Complete Home Delivery Missed Collection Survey by 8:00am daily
for any missed collections by our carriers (Hub only)
Review Big W X Daily Sales Report for overdue orders
Review yesterday's rejected items report and action
Review and action partially picked orders or outstanding pick trips
Review and order ULDs (Hub only)
Must Be available for 6am starts, Sunday-Wednesday
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 – $27.00 per hour
