We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Outside of School Hours Care (OSHC) Educator to join our in-house team on a casual or part-time basis, working between 2–5 days per week (approximately 6–15 hours weekly), for an immediate start.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive, community-focused school environment, providing high-quality care and engaging experiences for children outside of school hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate care for children aged 3–12 years.
- Facilitate engaging activities that support children’s learning, wellbeing, and interests.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment in line with school policies and national regulations.
- Ensure all practices are in accordance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), My Time, Our Place Framework, and ACT OSHC regulatory requirements.
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum of Cert IIII in Children's Services and/or Community Services (or equivalent). Diploma preferred.
- Current & valid Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Understanding of the National Quality Standard (NQS) and relevant legislation.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous experience working with children as an OSHC Educator or teaching assistant; ideal, but not essential.
