Weekend In Home Care Educator – Pacific Pines
A wonderful family in Pacific Pines is seeking a nurturing and proactive Educator to care for their three children – a 10-year-old and twin 7-year-olds – on weekends. Care is required on Saturday and/or Sunday (flexible – will be one or both days depending on roster).6am to 3.30pm
Pay rate: $40 per hour (negotiable )
Location: Pacific Pines
Start date: As soon as possible
We are looking for someone who can create a warm, engaging environment filled with fun, age appropriate activities. The ideal Educator will plan and facilitate activities that support creativity, imagination, physical movement, and social emotional development. Backyard games, creative arts and crafts, storytelling, baking, science fun!
Your role will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging activities
- Providing a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment
- Light meal preparation or snacks if required
Prerequisites:
Please ensure you have all the following prerequisites before applying:
- Certificate III in Children’s Services (ACECQA approved)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (in a childcare setting)
- Blue Card
- Police Clearance (less than 6 months old)
- Public Liability Insurance (once successfully placed)
- Medical Clearance
- Child Protection Certificate (refresher required every 2 years)
- ABN (this role is for a self-employed contractor)
- Photo ID
- PRODA RA (the office will assist you with this)
- Must be over 18 years of age
- Reliable car and driver’s license
