Adelaide Fast Blast have an opportunity for an individual that has prior experience and knowledge as a PAINTING TRADES PERSON with a focus on quality and attention to detail
To be considered for this position you MUST have -
- Understand surface preparation and finishes.
- Be able to understand and complete works to specifications.
- Be able to mix to correct ratio two-part paint coatings etc.
- Select paints, varnishes and stains to various surfaces using brushes, sprays, and rollers.
- Understand the use of Wet Film Thickness Gauges and be able to achieve specified dry film thickness.
- Be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Erecting scaffolding and ladders.
- Cleaning equipment and work areas.
- Outstanding communication skills
- The ability to work as rostered and be on time is ESSENTIAL
- The capacity to paint successfully to specification with a spray gun (Mainly pump and hand guns)
- The ability to produce a near automotive finish for mobile plant and equipment
- The ability to Produce a quality finish always
- Work in a professional and safe manner
- Understanding of WHS requirements compliance, and the correct use of PPE
- Great problem-solving skills
- Car license
- Forklift license preferable
- The ability to follow instructions and ask questions to clarify
