CT School of Music is a vibrant and growing music school (formerly CT Piano Studio) with a mission to make music fun, inspiring, and tailored to each student. We're looking for a passionate and creative piano teacher to join our team on a subcontractor basis.
About the Role
- Teach one-on-one piano lessons (ages 5–adult, beginner to intermediate)
- Create a fun, positive and engaging learning environment
- Tailor lessons to students’ goals and learning styles
- Prepare students for performances, AMEB exams, or personal goals
- Occasional holiday workshop opportunities
You Are
- Passionate about teaching and making music enjoyable
- Friendly, energetic, adaptable, and confident working with different ages
- Professional, reliable, and open to collaboration
Requirements
- Prior teaching experience (private or school-based preferred)
- Music degree (currently studying is fine) AMEB Grade 6+ or relevant music qualification
- ABN and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
