Hit the ground running

To support our strategic people objectives, we are looking for an experienced People Business Partner to join our People Services team. This is a true business partnering role where your ability to coach and support people leaders will contribute to the uplift of the people experience, performance optimisation, and talent enablement.


About the role

  • Proactively coach leaders to have effective performance and development conversations and embed a performance-driven culture that values accountability, feedback, and growth
  • Strengthen leadership capabilities through proactive coaching and development
  • Provide trusted guidance and advice to managers and the business to navigate complex ER/IR matters
  • Produce and present timely and relevant reports.
  • Approach the role with a solution focused people centric mindset

You will demonstrate:

  • Experience as a People Business Partner or Senior HRBP
  • End-to-end experience supporting the management of complex employee relations matters, including but not limited to underperformance and misconduct
  • Comprehensive understanding of industrial frameworks (Modern Awards, employment law) and applies them with sound judgement.
  • Ability to build rapport and strong partnerships with business leaders.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills – written and verbal
  • Strong capability in data analysis, problem-solving, innovation and evidence-based practice.
  • Confidence in advising, coaching, and facilitating people leaders – whether it’s in a 1:1 or group setting.

Key screening and requirements:

  • Working with Children Check and National Police Check
  • Be eligible to work in Australia
  • Current valid Driver’s Licence.
